Created a test garden today, to see how various plants do out here.

Update to house

More dirt cleared from house. Just to level floor then ready for concrete!

Started Restoration work

This the amount  of rubbish cleared so far. Not sure how many tonnes but it did take 3 days to clear.

Taking Shape

Accommodation is now taking shape. Solar and turbine running and satellite internet access working. 

Next step is water and refrigeration

Track now been fixed up and a lot easier to get around on.

First few days on site

First few days have been a bit tough. So hot, 45 in the shade,

Got some basic clearing done. Moved tent from first location, was too hot there. Moved higher up on the terraces, now I get a gentle breeze sometimes.

Traveled back to Spain and sale now completed, land is ours.
No the work really begins

Potential Property

After months of searching many, many websites for a suitable piece of property, we finally found a potentially good one.
Having decided to travel to Spain last week as a last minute decision to view 3 possibilities.
Today we went to view the 3 options, however after seeing the first one, there was no question, it was perfect for what we wanted. We agreed there and then that this is the one for us.
A huge plot of land 2.5  hectares!! totally remote and surrounded by pine forests. We found our Valley.
